Born in the port city of Tacoma, Washington. Lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.

Drawings/works on paper, sculptures and installations - ideally exhibited in some combination. Traditional gallery spaces are great, but an old basement, abandoned storefront, or the foodcourt of a shuttered and crumbling mall is an ideal partner. Not in the sense of fetishizing or glamorizing the post industrial landscape or ruins of death drive capitalism, but rather as an aesthetic companion and associative backdrop.

I value my work but enjoy playing with the edges of distribution. In recent solo outings I’ve had the opportunity to question my works value, guided by a deep belief that it should be out in the world for people to enjoy - rather than stored in my studio. Think along the lines of pay what you wish pricing structures, lottery, random acts of generosity and the gift spirit.  We need more mail art.
